Established in 1992, Taste of the NFL is the Super Bowl’s premier and iconic annual purpose-driven culinary experience, created to raise awareness and funds to tackle hunger. Starting this year, GENYOUth is proud to be partnering with the NFL to take this remarkable platform to the next level to support the 1 in 4 children in the U.S. who are food insecure. We all need to do our part to provide vital resources to the most vulnerable kids in our communities and that’s what the Taste of the NFL is all about – a reminder that we cannot take one meal for granted.
Taste of the NFL 2021 was like no other event in its 30-year history – a dynamic, delicious and hip hybrid experience that served up a virtual Taste of the NFL @ Home for NFL and foodie fans to participate in across the country. Hosted by GENYOUth CEO Alexis Glick live from Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, the livestream featured celebrity chefs Carla Hall, Andrew Zimmern, Tim Love and Lasheeda Perry cooking up delicious Super Bowl game day recipes; legendary sports stars Derek Jeter, Peyton Manning and Claressa Shields participating in an exclusive game day “Chalk Talk” moderated by three-time Emmy Award-winning network broadcaster James “JB” Brown; and NFL quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick and NFL PLAY 60 Super Kid Amaya Brannon stopped by to show their support for GENYOUth’s efforts. Taste of the NFL @ Home was an appetizing and fun mix of food and football that put tackling childhood hunger on the day’s menu.
Proceeds from Taste of the NFL @Home, along with the Chunky® Million Meals Challenge, will support the delivery of over 125 million meals to schools and kids in need across the country!
