Taste of the NFL
Established in 1992, Taste of the NFL is the Super Bowl’s premier and iconic annual purpose-driven culinary experience, created to raise awareness and funds to tackle hunger. Starting this year, GENYOUth is proud to be partnering with the NFL to take this remarkable platform to the next level to support the 1 in 4 children in the U.S. who are food insecure. We all need to do our part to provide vital resources to the most vulnerable kids in our communities and that’s what the Taste of the NFL is all about – a reminder that we cannot take one meal for granted.
That’s a wrap for Taste of the NFL 2022.
Thank you to all who supported GENYOUth’s End Student Hunger fund.

Chunky® Million Meals Challenge
THE “CHUNKY®” MILLION MEALS CHALLENGE
GENYOUth and Campbell’s® Chunky®, the Official Soup Sponsor of the NFL, hosted a dynamic esports initiative with the NFL, EA SPORTS, CSL Esports and Target to help tackle hunger in schools during the pandemic. With additional support provided by America’s Dairy Farmers, the NFL, Doritos and Bose, the Challenge was a free-to-enter open EA Sports Madden NFL 21 tournament that was conducted in December 2020 and January 2021. As the tournament progressed, the competition was winnowed down to the top 8 players. The players were drafted by coaching teams consisting of Madden NFL competitive pros including Joke, YoungKiv and CleffTheGod, and NFL players including Saquon Barkley, Dalvin Cook, Justin Jefferson, Jerry Jeudy, Miles Sanders, James Robinson, N’Keal Harry and Justin Simmons. The tournament culminated on January 25, 2021 with a national broadcast of the Finals competition on the NFL Network, the NFL’s official Twitch and YouTube channels, and ES Sports Twitch.
Throughout the two-month tournament, viewers were encouraged to donate to GENYOUth’s COVID-19 Emergency School Meal Delivery Fund, which helps alleviate food insecurity among the nation’s children. Proceeds from the Chunky® Million Meals Challenge, along with GENYOUth’s Taste of the NFL @Home, will support the delivery of over 125 million meals to schools and kids in need across the country!

GENYOUth employs the star power and excitement of the Super Bowl to increase access to school breakfast among those who need it most.
Working closely with Super Bowl Host Committees in cities across America — including Miami, Atlanta and Minnesota — GENYOUth raises funds to provide Grab and Go equipment and infrastructure for schools in Super Bowl cities and states to ensure kids kick off their day with a nutritious “Super School Breakfast.” This is a year-long funding and outreach effort during the 52 weeks leading up to each Big Game.
For the Forever 55 Super School Breakfast Initiative, conducted in partnership with the Tampa Bay Miami Super Bowl LV Host Committee, GENYOUth provided 55+ Grab and Go Bucaneers Fuel Up to Play 60-branded breakfast carts to local school, increasing access to over 5 million school meals in school districts in the Tampa Bay area counties of Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco.
In support of the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee’s Health and Wellness pillar, GENYOUth will also provide 55 schools in Pinellas and Hillsborough County school districts with NFL FLAG-in-schools kits.

GENYOUth GALAS
It’s an evening like no other.
Each year, GENYOUth’s annual gala brings together our family of partners, friends and students in support and celebration of our nation’s greatest change agents: youth. This festive event spotlights the impact made towards improving school wellness while honoring those without whom our work would not be possible.
Held in such exciting venues as the Waldorf-Astoria Ballroom, the Ziegfeld Theatre, the American Museum of Natural History’s “Whale Room” and on board the U.S.S. Intrepid, the gala is a moving and unforgettable night celebrating our collective work in bringing together private and public partners, convening dialogues, enlisting colleagues, generating insights, building awareness and channeling resources.
GENYOUth’s coveted Vanguard Award is presented each year to an individual or organization whose commitment to youth is exemplary. Honorees have included U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack, SAP CEO Bill McDermott, Big 10 Commissioner Kevin Warren, and the PepsiCo Foundation, with high profile guests and speakers from the world of media, sports and culture.
