Sophie is a girl always on the move. She loves to dance, run, and enjoys trying new ways to stay active. She is active in her high school as well: serving as Executive Chair for her Student Council, a member of LINK crew, and participating in a Principal’s Advisory panel. She has been a part of Fuel Up to Play 60 since the 5th grade, and has enjoyed connecting with student leaders from all around the country. Although she loves being active, anytime the Kansas City Chiefs are playing, you will most definitely see this sports fan glued to her TV or checking her Fantasy Football stats. Sophie’s dream job would combine her interests in science, people, and community service. Sophie continues to grow as a person and a leader through all that Fuel Up to Play 60 has offered her, and she is grateful for the opportunity to continue in the program she loves. “Fuel Up to Play 60 has opened my eyes to how much of an impact one student can have in their community. It has helped me to realize that I have a voice and the tools necessary to make a change.”
