Rohit is interested in public health, and wants to become a trauma surgeon in the future. Rohit wants to go to medical school, earn a PhD, and contribute to structural reforms of the American healthcare system to improve lifespans and overall quality of life. Rohit has acted on his public health interests locally, as he is a member of Health Service Corps. He is also contributing to a healthier school community by collaborating with school administrators to decrease sports dropout rates among middle schoolers through a flag football program in the middle school.
