Rohit is a high school student-athlete who is passionate about public health, medicine, and football. He sees himself going to college and attending medical school to become a surgeon specializing in nephrology or cardiology, with the goal of making a difference in reducing the growing number of diet-related health issues that today’s society faces. Rohit understands the importance of physical activity and diet in maintaining proper health, and learned about public health at Rutgers University Newark, where he was inducted into the Rutgers Health Service Corps to help alleviate student diet issues near the campus.
