Malinah is president of her Black Student Union club, a member of her community’s Youth Commission, secretary of her school’s newspaper, and president of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee. She has a passion for helping and serving people, with the goals of serving in the U.S. military and obtaining a master’s degree double-majoring in political science and communications. Malina’s community spirit takes the form of street cleanups, project organizing, and volunteering at her local Boys and Girls Club.
