Douglas Fry
Former North American President, Subway Restaurants
Douglas joined Subway in 2021 as the Managing Director of Subway Canada, where he demonstrated tremendous success and continually achieved record-breaking average unit volumes and positive traffic trends. Among other priorities, Douglas focused on building franchisee relations to help improve restaurant operations and business performance.
With more than 20 years of experience in the restaurant and consumer packaged goods industries, Douglas also held senior leadership positions at McDonald’s Canada, Recipe Brands, and Kraft Heinz. His expertise includes sales, marketing, strategy, guest experience, supply chain, training and development, and operational leadership.
Douglas graduated from The University of Western Ontario.
