Chair, National Dairy Council
Audrey Donahoe is chair of the National Dairy Council®, which was founded in 1915, and a member of the United Dairy Industry Association, which is part of Dairy Management Inc. Audrey and her husband Jeffrey are fifth-generation farmers who milk 95 cows in Frankfort, New York.
National Dairy Council® is the nutrition research, education and communications arm of Dairy Management Inc. On behalf of U.S. dairy farmers, NDC provides science-based nutrition information to, and in collaboration with, a variety of stakeholders committed to fostering a healthier society, including health professionals, educators, school nutrition directors, academia, industry, consumers and media.
Dairy Management Inc. is the domestic and international planning and management organization responsible for increasing demand for U.S.-produced dairy products on behalf of America’s dairy farmers and dairy importers. DMI manages the National Dairy Council®, the U.S. Dairy Export Council® (USDEC) and the Innovation Center for U.S. Dairy®.
