Rob Bisceglie

Action for Healthy Kids
Rob Bisceglie has served as Executive Officer and President of Action for Healthy Kids (AFHK) since January 2008. Under his leadership, AFHK has grown into the nation’s largest network dedicated to advancing child health, engaging more than 150,000 volunteers and champions to improve the well-being of 20 million children in 55,000 schools nationwide.
Rob brings over two decades of extensive experience in nonprofit management, international development, and community service to his role at AFHK. Before his tenure at AFHK, Rob worked in Chicago and Washington, D.C., for various nonprofit, governmental, and community organizations. In Washington, D.C., he oversaw international development programs impacting more than 40 developing countries for U.S. Agency for International Development initiatives. He also served as the Director of Planning and Development for the Infant Welfare Society of Chicago.
Rob holds a master’s degree in foreign affairs, focusing on humanitarian intervention and human rights foreign policy, from the University of Virginia, and a bachelor’s degree in business from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Dedicated to his community, Rob has a longstanding record of public service. He served as a member of the Board of Education for Roselle School District 12 for eight years, including three years as president. Additionally, he has contributed his expertise to other local boards, including the United Way of DuPage County and FORWARD DuPage.
Rob’s dedication to AFHK’s mission is deeply personal. As a devoted husband and father of three, his commitment to enhancing the health and well-being of families nationwide is fueled by his own family’s and community’s experiences and needs.
