Charles is a student leader dedicated to health, service, and academic excellence. He plans to pursue a career in cardiovascular or orthopedic surgery while earning a bachelor’s degree in biology with a pre-med focus and a double major in business administration. He will graduate this year with his high school diploma and also earn an Associate of Applied Science degree from community college. Charles is actively involved in HOSA – Future Health Professionals, 4-H as a state ambassador, Beta Club as the upcoming president, Student Government Association as junior class president and student body president, the Mayor’s Youth Council as co-chair, and the Kappa Leadership & Development League (Kappa League) as secretary, in addition to participating in basketball and baseball. He is also a certified nursing assistant. Through his leadership, he contributes to a healthier school community by encouraging physical activity and promoting healthier eating habits among students.
